Big Bass – John Krewson & Anita Michel – 5.12 pounds

John Krewson and Anita Maichel from Overbrook, KS took first place.  The couple brought a five fish limit to the scales that weighed in at 17.96 pounds, also grabbing a check for Big Bass that weighed 5.12 pounds. They fished the main lake and caught fish all day at a depth of 16-20 feet.  They caught their fish flipping trees with Culprit red shad worms and watermelon wooly boogers. John and Anita are sponsored by Culprit, Zebco, Quantum, and Motorguide.

Second place went to Kyle and Stacey White from Clinton, MO. They weighed in a five fish limit that weighed 14.82 pounds. They caught their fish in Tebo on mud banks in 2 feet of water. 

Matt Ells and Sandra York of Ash Grove, Missouri finished in third place with four keepers that weighed 11.00 pounds. The couple caught their fish in the Dam area in 2-6 feet of water using crank baits on bluff ends and jigs on shallow timber. They are sponsored by Pro Mariner and Mercury.

Next tournament is August 22 at Pittsburgh State Park Marina on Pom de Terre Lake.
